Your reply - above - about parents giving money to their son, George, by a reverse mortgage is WAY OFF THE MARK....
You would have been much smarter to have written: What the heck are the parents doing GIVING money to George????? Is George under 18 years of age????? You should not perpetuate the concept that children are entitled to put their hands out to their parents whenever they wish... and can expect their parents to fill those hands with MONEY!!!!!!!
Count me as one of those who gets tired of seeing parents not acting like parents.... and not telling their offspring to grow up!!!!

I agree 100% that these parents don't need to be giving this "George" one thin dime. He sounds manipulative, ungrateful, self-centered and dishonest. If he's indeed sick and broke, he can get help from elsewhere, rather than bleeding his parents dry before they die. I can't believe "Annie" even CONSIDERED that those parents should reverse mortgage their house.
