Dear Jeff J. ,
I don't beleive that your happiness lies in working with a personal trainer . Nor do I believe that your happiness is back in the 1960s . It's really about going outside your comfort zone and getting to know yourself , deeply and truly.
Why lament that petite or average size women are not interested in you romantically ? Are you interested in the many women in your age group who might be 20 or 30 pounds overweight instead of 20 or 30 pounds underweight ? As much as you can't help your weight problem , they can't either. Most people usually do the best they can with what they've got. If they are still not perfect , well then they are just human. As a women just over 50 , I can tell you that the physical challenges in this part of my life are almost equal to those in the childbearing years. It's just a matter of perspective. The ability to see another human being for who they are is what I am after in my own evolution . How about you? Don't give up ... it's not fair to you or anyone else you are here to touch , love, comfort and enrich.
