You're right, Chuck. We continue to face the same problem over here. Over 600,000 'legal' immigrants arrived in the UK in 2006/2007 (possibly 50,000 illegal ones). Over 400,000 residents in Britain, of whom about half are native Britons - tired of being second-class individuals in their own country (about 10% of Brits - 5-6,000,000 - now live abroad) emigrated, to Australia, New Zealand, the US/Canada, France and Spain.
A net influx of 200,000-250,000 immigrants a year (legal and illegal) is unsustainable for the UK. Although a greater land mass, the US has a similar problem.
Tough times are a-comin,' not least through the impending economic difficutlies that both our nations are facing. Such difficulties may of course bring about a sudden preference for EMigration, where, as Jeremiah prophesied, Jeremiah 50:16, "they shall flee every one to his own land."
But as indicated, it will be rough sleddin' as I believe you say over there. Nevertheless, keep on sounding the warnings, Chuck.

God bless you Chuck! We aren't hearing much about our borders, with the elections come up, these days.
No matter what they say I believe it was that petition we signed that got gas prices dropping. Why can't someone get a petition like that going for "We the people" to sign about our borders?
I did hear on the news McCain saying that the UNAN wouldn't take place while he is President. That's good but how do we know it's not just because it needs some more work and will take more time to happen. Other words just because it doesn't happen during his Presidency doesn't mean they won't be working to bring it into existence. May God help us. And just for the record I believe it's both Partys that's doing this not just one.
This whole thing with "Geargia" shows us that we need to be sure we can defend ourselves because they/re not going to hurry any more to help us then they are Georgia if we are attacked.
Keep up the good work!
