Ask Stacy

DEAR STACY: What happened to Denise Austin? She did an exercise show weekday mornings. I hope she is OK. My wife enjoyed her. — Anthony D., Queens Village, N.Y.

DEAR ANTHONY: Denise Austin's contract was not renewed with Lifetime TV, but the fitness guru is reportedly trying to get back on the air with a new show on another channel. In the meantime, fans can either watch reruns of her old "Getting Fit" workouts on ESPN Classic, look her up on YouTube, or work out with one of her videos or DVDs. She's done 82, the latest being "Best Belly Fat-Blasters," and two more are due out in January. She's also a featured life coach on AOL.com, and offers diet and exercise tips via her own website. She and sports attorney Jeff Austin have been married 25 years and have two teenaged daughters.

DEAR STACY: I like Rainn Wilson of "The Office," and I'm wondering about his personal life. Age, background? Is he married? — Jody P., Canton, Ohio

DEAR JODY: Yes, the Seattle-born 42-year-old is married to author Holiday Reinhorn, and the father of a son, Walter, born in 2004. He studied theater at the University of Washington and Tufts University before earning his BFA from New York University. A one-time member of the highly regarded The Acting Company, Wilson did theater work in New York and guest roles on TV shows before making his breakthrough, playing Arthur, the odd love interest to Francis Conroy, on "Six Feet Under."

DEAR STACY: Please give an update on actress Hayley Mills. — Joe C., Brooklyn, N.Y.

DEAR JOE: Mills just completed filming the fourth season of the British TV series "Wild at Heart," about an English veterinarian (Stephen Tompkinson) and his family living on a South African wildlife preserve. Now 62, the one-time child star has also done theater work in recent years.

She has two sons — Crispian, 35, from her marriage to the late producer-director Roy Boulting (you'll recall he was 32 years her senior); and Jason, a.k.a. Ace, 32, from her relationship with actor Leigh Lawson.

DEAR STACY: Sprague Grayden has such a pretty, unusual name. What is its origin? — Samantha N., Chattanooga, Tenn.

DEAR SAMANTHA: Sprague is the "24" and "Jericho" actress's mother's maiden name.

DEAR STACY: We don't get to see enough of one of my favorite actresses, Helen Hunt, these days. What is she up to? — Ron I., Bridport, VT

DEAR RON: She's been making the big screen drama "Every Day," with Liev Schreiber and Carla Gugino, for writer-director Richard Levine. She and Schreiber play a couple whose marriage is under duress. Hunt, who has a 4-year-old daughter, Makena, with producer and author Matthew Carnahan, limits her professional activities these days. "I'm a stay-at-home mom who every few years takes on a big thing and pieces it together somehow," she told me recently. "I've been home with my daughter since she was born, almost entirely. It's been very lucky. I said to myself, 'I want to be with my family and work on projects I love doing.' And if this kind of work means very infrequently being away for intense periods of time, it's not a bad trade."

DEAR STACY: Are the shows "Women's Murder Club" and "Curb Your Enthusiasm" coming back, and if so, when? — William H., South Setauket, N.Y.

DEAR WILLIAM: "Women's Murder Club" was canceled after a lackluster first season, interrupted by the Writers Guild of America strike. Season 7 of "Curb Your Enthusiasm" is set to begin production in December.

DEAR STACY: I'm a fan of "Kyle XY." When is there going to be another season? — Ray B., Springfield, Mass.

DEAR RAY: The show has been set for a Jan. 12 third season premiere.
