DEAR STACY: How old is "Supernanny" Jo Frost? Does she want to have children of her own some day? I'm a fan of her no-nonsense approach. — Danielle G., Springfield, Mass.
DEAR DANIELLE: The 37-year-old, single Londoner has made it clear she'd like to find Mr. Right and have a family of her own. However, as she told me, "It's slim chances to date when you're out on the road working all the time. But you never know what's around the corner."
DEAR STACY: Watching the Olympics, we were remembering that Geena Davis was trying to make the archery team at one time. How close did she come to making it, and when was that? — David D., Cleveland, Ohio
DEAR DAVID: In 1999, the Oscar-winning actress placed 24th out of 28 in semi-finals for the U.S. Olympic Archery team.
DEAR STACY: When is Arsenio Hall coming back to TV? Why did he end his former show? — L.B., Bronx, N.Y.
DEAR L.B.: Hall's hour-long MyNetworkTV reality show, "Funniest Moments" has been slated for an Oct. 8 premiere. It spins off the YouTube craze for user-submitted online videos. Hall, who's been hosting a talk show on L.A. radio station KLSX (as a guest host on the Tim Conway, Jr. show) Wednesday nights, says he chose to end his "The Arsenio Hall Show" after its five-year run mainly because he realized he was no longer in love with doing it. He also slowed down his standup career for years in deference to his son, now age 7. As the single dad explained awhile ago, "What better mission to be on than being a great black father?"
DEAR STACY: Is Lee Pace married or does he have a serious girlfriend? — Miranda S., Cleveland, Ohio
DEAR MIRANDA: The "Pushing Daisies" star is single at the moment, and lives with his buddy — a Pointer named Carl.
DEAR STACY: Whatever happened to Katherine MacGregor who played Harriet Olson on "Little House on the Prairie"? — Helen K., Brooklyn, N.Y.
DEAR HELEN: MacGregor (aka Scottie MacGregor), retired, 83, is a long-time devotee of Vedanta and the teachings of the late Swami Vivekananda. In fact, she wasn't in the final farewell episode of "Little House" because she was on a pilgrimage to India. Long divorced, she belongs to an ashram, meditates, is a strict vegetarian. She lives in Hollywood.
DEAR STACY: Why was the Star Jones talk show discontinued on truTV? — A.U., Bronx, N.Y.
DEAR A.U.: It fared very badly in the ratings, with an average viewership of only 186,000. The final show reportedly drew a mere 85,000.
DEAR STACY: Frankie Muniz leaves acting for race car driving, and then you never hear of him again. How is he doing, and does he plan to return to acting? — Jen P., Highlands, N.J.
DEAR JEN: Muniz, who came in second at the Sebring Winter National SCCA race in January of '07, has been toiling away on the track, trying to work his way up to consistent top 10 finishes in the 2008 Cooper Tires Atlantic Championship series, powered by Mazda. This is his second season in that series, and he's been a consistent top 15 finisher. Muniz hasn't closed the door on his acting career. He said he was taking "a break" from it, in fact. But he currently has no acting plans.
