Today's moon in the water sign of Pisces inclines attitudes to go with the flow. Think of your life as a fair day at the beach. You can walk along the shore or dare to get into some powerful waves — either way, you're going to get wet. Each person has to manage their own thrilling balance between the controlled and uncontrolled elements.

ARIES (March 21-April 19). You trust that everything will be provided, and it is. You even find someone who will treat your fragile, secret soul with the tenderness and discretion needed, and it all unfolds without words.

TAURUS (April 20-May 20). Offering your love may be a daily routine, but that doesn't make it any less sacred. Someone has reverence for the small kindnesses that are your habit. It's nice to be appreciated.

GEMINI (May 21-June 21). There are people around you who not only want to help — they need to! You're helping them by giving them a chance to assist you. And you get more done because you're not trying to do it all yourself.

CANCER (June 22-July 22). Little leaks sink big ships. You'll be quickly handling potential energy drains. Whether it's a colleague who wastes your time at work, a piece of mis-delivered mail or a domestic project left undone, it gets your efficient attention.

LEO (July 23-Aug. 22). You can't be all things to all people, but that doesn't stop you from trying. The best thing you can do for others now is be good to yourself. And if you can treat yourself fabulously well, that's even better.

TODAY'S BIRTHDAY (AUGUST 18). Just as soon as you finish the unfinished business, new projects entice you. By the start of October you're on to exciting, fresh adventures. Your personal life sparkles in November. Open your big heart to the world and make room for the unexpected — you may get exactly what you wanted, and then some. Sagittarius and Libra adore you. Your lucky numbers are: 5, 10, 54, 32 and 1.

VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22). You're in fantastic communication with the ones you love, though even you must admit you have very little in common these days. It's beautiful, your willingness to learn what you must in order to bridge the gap.

LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 23). There are some real characters that come out of the woodwork to greet you now. The more different kinds of people you meet, the better you appreciate each new personality that comes into your realm.

SCORPIO (Oct. 24-Nov. 21). You cherish a few special treats from the stars now. Maybe it's a chance to win a contest, a compliment heard through the grapevine or a call from that person who's been on your mind.
Whatever it is, you know it's all for you.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21). Whatever makes you happy, getting more of it won't necessarily make you any happier. Consider that your current portion size of satisfaction might be absolutely perfect for you.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19). It would seem that the decisions that effect your life are in the hands of someone else. This is the illusion of the day that begs to be shattered. Make the decision for yourself, whether or not you think it's yours to make.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18). You don't, as a rule, seek out adrenaline rushes, which is what makes it all the more exhilarating when you come upon such thrills. Tonight is thoroughly relaxing, especially if you're around a Libra.

PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20). Everyone has different rules. You have boundaries you never realized before that become perfectly clear when someone tries to push past them. Be thankful for your teachers.

ASTROLOGICAL TOPICS: Celebrity couple Madonna and Guy Ritchie have been under Saturn's scrutiny, as the ringed planet has been putting pressure on her marriage sector all summer. How does the transit of Saturn affect a person's love life? Typically the lessons a person has to learn will be embodied in intimate relationships. Mythically, Saturn was the father of the gods, but weirdly, ate his own children because he feared they would someday usurp his power. Likewise, a love connection with planet Saturn can mire us with self-doubt, as inhibitions and anxieties all stifle love. Saturn was a serious bloke, so his transits inspire people to take love seriously — sometimes too seriously! Commitment-phobia is one extreme example. However, other folks respond to Saturn transits by exemplifying lifelong mate traits of dependability, responsibility and commitment. This earthy planet's respect is earned, never given — so Saturn's presence can delay love, but it also bodes especially well for marriage, a bond that matures over time. When transiting Saturn touches our love lives, love feels heavy. Relationships are tested, and if found lacking at the foundations, only cool realism can fix it.

CELEBRITY PROFILES: Actor Ed Norton doesn't embrace the notoriety and perks accompanying celebrity status, having said, "If I ever have to stop taking the subway, I'm gonna have a heart attack." He's another Uranus-in-Leo-type guy (like Sean Penn, yesterday's b-day) and he's far more comfortable on the fringes of fame than hanging out with the in-crowd. Outsider Uranus trumps the Leo need to belong.
