Horoscopes by Holiday for November 12

If you like Holiday Mathis, you might enjoy

The Taurus moon is full and promising. The sign of the bull is a pleasure seeker, determined to get the most out of life. All five senses crave to be tantalized. We are made keenly aware of how to enjoy what is around us, and also determined to go where we are sure to be delighted. What was merely a want yesterday is now a burning desire.

ARIES (March 21-April 19). Is it possible to be too likeable? In your book, unless you have at least a few objectors, you're not being true enough to yourself. So when someone disagrees with you today, you actually take it as a good sign.

TAURUS (April 20-May 20). You're a trendsetter. You don't mind it when people copy you — that just comes with the territory — but you do want the credit. You'll have to make double sure that your name is inserted where it's supposed to be.

GEMINI (May 21-June 21). Managing your money becomes an interesting challenge when you realize how you could be spending differently. If your curiosity leads you, ask friends about their finances and they'll be quite candid with you.

CANCER (June 22-July 22). You're not in the mood for jokesters and yet someone seems intent on bothering and/or amusing you. Inside this clowning around is a weary soul who just wants to be loved and accepted.

LEO (July 23-Aug. 22). You're gifted with extra self-discipline, and just in time. In order to get where you say you want to go, choices must be made, like sleeping and rising earlier, changing key parts of your routine and getting organized.

TODAY'S BIRTHDAY (NOVEMBER 12). The spirit of enterprise overtakes you this year and you organize your life so as to bring in more abundance in every area, starting with your relationships. Over the next 10 weeks you re-teach loved ones how to treat you. You're so adventurous in September, you could even go where you don't speak the language. Virgo and Pisces adore you. Your lucky numbers are: 6, 40, 21, 44 and 11.

VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22). Someone accuses you of being skeptical, but you prefer to think of yourself as discerning. Your questions are wise and will prevent you from wasting time, energy and thought on an untrue premise.

LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 23). Every situation is unique. A friend has success with one method, and that's not the way that will work for you. You'll be finding your own route to success and it's a little rough at first, but hang in there.

SCORPIO (Oct. 24-Nov. 21). You're free from the burden of having to present things in a certain light.
The truth doesn't need to be softened. It can be stated plainly and it will be perfectly appropriate.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21). Have patience for those who are going at a different pace than you are used to. When you're gentle with fellow travelers in traffic and family members who need extra care, you feel good about yourself.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19). You're out of your element in some ways, but your old tricks will work in this new environment. Razzle-dazzle 'em with that clever dance you do to distract them from your inexperience.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18). You're a believer. You won't wait for the supporting evidence or the facts. You believe in something just because you want to, and that works out well for you. There is intelligence in your innocence.

PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20). You feel good enough to skip, whistle or laugh out loud. So why don't you? It doesn't matter who's watching, but the more the merrier. Share your sweet joy and you'll be doubling up on the recipe.

THE FULL TAURUS MOON: It has arrived in all its round glory, ready to deliver on all promises. Taurus, the bull, is the ruler of appetite. It's not a coincidence that the Taurus full moon falls around Thanksgiving. The most basic meaning of the word "appetite" pertains to the desire for food or drink. The bounty of the harvest season is served up to great effect during this time, as Taurus is always sure to present things in a sensually stirring light. The mouth starts to water just thinking about it! And now it's also time to think about your appetites that go beyond the meal. What is it that you crave out of life? What glowing prize makes the struggle worthwhile to you? Taurus energy is strongly determined and will aid in the attainment of any goal. Taurus teaches us that there is great power in being still and getting focused. Think of the calm, massive, seemingly immobile bull standing in the pasture. His mind seems blank, and that is the key. The same creature is capable of running at top speed with immense power to spear any obstacle in the way of his target. Empty your mind and gather your power.

CELEBRITY PROFILES: Ryan Gosling played an imaginative husband of a life-sized doll in "Lars and the Real Girl" and his natal chart reveals that he's just as creative in real life, though not at all delusional. A practical Capricorn moon shows solid grounding in reality and three important planets in Libra herald his ability to make all of the right connections with living supporters in Hollywood and beyond.
