Of Art and Monsters: Boris Karloff was not Russian at all. He was actually a London-born Englishman whose career began in Canada. That being said, one of his grandmothers was a Bengali from Calcutta, India. His other grandmother's sister was Anna Leonowens, who was the "I" in "The King and I." Leonowens also spent much of her life in Canada. She co-founded the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design.

Legal Downloads: In 2007, after the end of their contract with EMI, Radiohead released its album "In Rainbows" online, allowing fans to pay whatever they thought it was worth. About one-third of people who downloaded decided it wasn't worth paying anything at all for, but the average price paid was 4 pounds.

The album went on to win two Grammy Awards.
